The Brazilian School for Advanced Studies of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (CBAE-UFRJ) was established on September 7, 2004, to bring together the University's centers of excellence and allow transversality through a fruitful dialogue between the various fields of knowledge,reflecting not only the frontier of knowledge but also creating opportunities for linkage between the academic community of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the entire society.
